On 06.12.2025 on Kyiv Sophia Square will be opened Ukraine Main Christmas Tree 2025-2026 with a small skating rink and several houses selling confectionery and hot drinks.

Preparatory work is planned to begin on 08.11.2025 and the Ukrainian Main Christmas Tree will traditionally turn on the lights on St. Nicholas Day - 06.12.2025.

Ukraine Main Christmas Tree opening ceremony will take place with participation of Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

The creation of the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 celebration area on Sophia Square will be organized by patrons - the initiator of the arrangement was Global-Decor LLC which assumes responsibility for the installation, maintenance and dismantling of all structures as well as all related resources and financial support.
