On 23.08.2025 in Kyiv will fully open traffic on Podilskyi Bridge for cars, public transport and cyclists connecting Naberezhno-Khreshchatytska St on the right bank of Dnipro River to Romana Shukhevycha Ave on the left bank.

Traffic will be opened in 4 lanes in each direction on the section from Naberezhno-Khreshchatytska St to Rusanivski Sady and then - 2 lanes for cars. Also will be organized the drive through the passage of both parts of the newly built tunnel.

Currently the main work on the largest infrastructure object in Ukraine with a total length of 10 km has been completed.

Podilskyi Bridge has bicycle lanes in both directions with a total length of over 11 km and lanes for public transport.

The construction of a transport interchange for passengers of the high-speed tram and Kyiv City Train has been fully completed.

The next step is the construction of stations of the future Podilsko-Vyhurivska Subway Line - three of which "Shipbuilding", "Trukhaniv Island" and "Desenka Bay" are implemented on the lower level of the Podilskyi Bridge. The works of the new subway line is planned to be completed by 2040 with 17 stations and a total length of 21 km.
