DART Ukraine organized the first test Borodyanka Tour with visit of Banksy Art |
Participants of the tour are professional Kyiv tour guides who also visited Borodyanka central square and looked at the alley where artifacts commemorating the events of 2022, saw a museum that local residents created on their own. The key attraction for the future tourism in restored Bucha, Irpin, Borodyanka, Hostomel and Horenka will be art murals of two world famous artists - Banksy from the United Kingdom and TvBoy from Italy. These two artists visited Ukraine marking their protest against the war by art murals on walls of destroyed houses. Banksy art in Ukraine since 2022 presented by seven murals in Kyiv, Irpin, Borodyanka, Horenka and Hostomel. TVBoy is a nickname of Salvatore Benintende who in January 2023 was invited by humanitarian organisation Cesvi to travel to Bucha and Irpin in Ukraine to create fifteen art murals to bring positivity as the Ukrainian nation approached a year of war.
