Ukraine ZAZ cars in Monte-Carlo Classic Rally | 31.01 - 02.02.2022 |
Update! Sergii Malyk and Gennady Vilgotsky awarded Team Cup of Monte-Carlo Rally In honor of 60th anniversary of the first car ZAZ-965 "Zaporozhets" the organizers of the rally made an exception to the rules and allowed four ZAZ and two MZMA/AZLK classic cars to participate in the competition. ZAZ-965, ZAZ-966, ZAZ-968 will participate in the rally for the first time, Moskvich-403 model has been participant of Monte-Carlo Classic Rally 1964 and Moskvich 408 (MZMA-408) - London - Sydney Marathon Rally 1968. Finnish rally driver Ari Vatanen who won World Rally Championship in 1981 and Paris Dakar Rally four times is a Ukrainian team patron for Monte-Carlo Classic Rally 2022. Ukrainian team is 16 participants among which there are three women who are drive as a female team. Classic cars ZAZ-965, ZAZ-966, ZAZ-968, Moskvich-403, Moskvich 408 (MZMA-408) and Ukrainian team will be presented to public in Ukrainian cities: 12.01.2022, 12:00, Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Velyka Zhytomyrska Str. 33, Kyiv - initial presentation of project of Ukrainian team participation in Monte-Carlo Classic Rally 2022 (all cars which participate in the rally will be presented on the location) 19.01.2022 - Zaporizhzhia The first stage of Rally Monte-Carlo 2022 will start on 31.01.2022 in the city of Valence, France by circular route of 380 kilometers of mountain roads. The secons stage of the rally will be finished at main steets of Monaco. Lets wish good luck to Ukrainian team in Rally Monte-Carlo 2022!)
