On 15.09.2021 at Kyiv VDNG was installed Kyiv Whale Eco Sculpture - new ecological symbol of Ukrainian capital and the largest interactive sculpture made of recycled plastic.

The total length of Kyiv Whale Eco Sculpture is 12 meters. It has a metal frame and is equipped with panels made of recycled plastic. Interactive lighting of the sculpture connected to Ecosystem of Kyiv to monitor the state of air and water pollution taking into account the amount of precipitation, season and change color depends on these factors.

Plastic for Kyiv Whale Eco Sculpture was collected for 6 months. Activists took part in cleaning parks, Lybid River and Dnieper River. Students from twenty five Kyiv schools also joined the project.

The author of the eco sculpture is Valery Korshunov - Ukrainian artist, the founder of social and cultural projects including "Sounds of Chernobyl", "Artifact" and "Chernobyl Shine".

The new Kyiv Whale Eco Sculpture is installed at Kyiv VDNG near 11th pavilion.
