On 01.07.2021 in Kyiv open Kyiv Hospitality Academy - free three months training project for volunteers of tourism development of the capital of Ukraine organized by Kyiv State Administration.

The purpose of Kyiv Hospitality Academy is the promotion of Kyiv as an international tourist center where the priority is to comply with European standards of hospitality.

The best professionals-trainers in tourism as well as specialists in security, hospitality, consultants in the psychology of interpersonal relationships, etiquette are involved in the creation and implementation of the project.

Recruitment of Kyiv Hospitality Academy participants is carried out on a competitive basis based on the results of the questionnaire. Participation is free of charge.

The training course of Kyiv Hospitality Academy consists of three intensives where theory and practice are combined:

- Kyiv is a tourist center
- Volunteering as a part of the hospitality
- Practical skills of volunteers of tourism development in Kyiv

As a result of the training which will last three months students of Kyiv Hospitality Academy will receive:

- Theoretical and practical skills of information support of tourists
- Learn about the intricacies of different types of tourism: gastronomic, medical, event, sports, festival
- Participate in Kyiv tour programs
- Get acquainted in practice with the technique of self-defense and first aid
- Gain knowledge in the field of logistics, legal aid, insurance

According to the training results participants of Kyiv Hospitality Academy:

- master the skills of organizing the quality service for tourists and guests of the capital of Ukraine
- will get acquainted with sights and attractions of Kyiv
- will be included in the list of volunteers of Department of Tourism and Promotions of Kyiv City State Administration
