On 26.04.2021 in Kyiv VDNG, Pavilion №1 will open Chornobyl. Journey Exhibition - multimedia exhibition dedicated to 35th anniversary of Chernobyl Disaster.

Multimedia Exhibition Chornobyl. Journey consists of seven semantic blocks - from the world context of shocking 1986 to the story of the accident itself, from the stories of people whose destinies are inextricably linked to events of April 26, 1986 to the dialogue about the future of Chernobyl and its future.

Visitors of the exhibition will be able to see in Pavilion VDNG №1 archival photos and videos, paintings of world famous Ukrainian artist Maria Primachenko dedicated to Chernobyl, get to Chernobyl and explore it with modern technology, look in VR how the fourth power unit covered and how life returns step by step to Chernobyl exclusion zone. The project is completed by a video of Pink Floyd Marooned clip shot in Prypyat.

Chornobyl. Journey Exhibition will allow you to learn the stories of eyewitnesses of the accident and people whose fates are inextricably linked to it as well as record their memories, thoughts and experiences in video or audio format. Upon completion of the project its content will be posted on a digital platform that will continue to collect memory and reflections on Chernobyl Accident.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on April 26, 2021 for General Director of IAEA Rafael Grossi, Ukrainian President and mass media.

For visitors Chornobyl. Journey Exhibition will be opened after the abolition of strict quarantine.

Admission to the exhibition is free of charge.
