On 24.09.2021 in Kharkiv took place Kharkiv Aviation Plant 95th Anniversary Celebration at Hangar 5 with official ceremony near two AN-140 and AN-74 assembling line and visit of Kharkiv Aviation Plant Museum.

The holiday was attended by employees of Kharkiv Aviation Plant, veterans, journalists and honored guests.

Celebration began with laying of flowers to the legendary aircraft designers Konstantin Kalinin and Oleg Antonov whose memorial plaques are installed on the buildings of Kharkiv Aviation Plant.

Visitors of the celebration could look at Kharkiv Aviation Plant Museum aircrafts open air exposition with TU-104A, TU-124, TU-134, TU-141, MiG-15, Yak-18 and X-55 missiles, modern light aircrafts inculding KhAZ-30 and Kharkiv Aviation Plant Museum with quality scale models of aircrafts produced by the plant during 95 years including famous Kalinin K-7.

The celebration continued at historical 5th Hangar where near two AN-140 and AN-74 assembling line Alexander Kryvokon, General Director of Kharkiv State Aircraft Manufacturing Company and Igor Fomenko, Deputy General Director for Production of Ukroboronprom and other officials made congratulations.

Twenty employees of Kharkiv Aviation Plant received awards and prizes for personal contribution and conscientious work - badges, honorary titles, gifts.

Musical congratulations were from Honored Artist of Ukraine Yevhenia Kostenko, soloist of Kharkiv National Opera and Ballet Theater N.V. Lysenko, winner of international competitions Serhiy Zamytsky, Kupava Trio of bandura players of Yaroslav the Wise National Law University, Oleg Dziuba, People's Artist of Ukraine and People's Artist of Ukraine of Culture of Republic of Poland.

Pleasant gift to aircraft builders was a greeting from Civil Air Patrol. Patrol pilot Yuri Pokusay flying over Kharkiv Aviation Plant by Socata plane congratulated everyone about 95th anniversary by radio comminication.

The holiday ended with a joint photo shoot of the workers, veterans and honored guests.
