On 17.09.2021 at Dzharylhach Island opened Tourist Hub Pearl of Kherson Region - the tourist space that will help develop tourism industry and for tourists to get all necessary information in one place.

Tourist Hub "Pearl of Kherson Region" was created on the basis of parking ship "Pavlo Polubotok" and has a size of 45 x 12 meters with a draft of one meter.

At the base of the tourist hub is a floating restaurant, lounge area, life support facilities and the necessary infrastructure. In addition the ship has two holds for receiving wastewater which is processed by an autonomous seven-stage closed cycle system. On-site power is provided by a ship's generator.

The tourist hub is equipped with high-speed Internet up to 75 Mbps per 100 users at a time, speaker system for conferences and official events.

In addition Tourist Hub "Pearl of Kherson Region" could include an inpatient medical center, rooms for police officers, SES, border guards and other services.

At the initiative of NGO "Bird Life Ukraine" a year-round system for monitoring the migration of birds on Dzharylhach Island is planned to be located on the ship.

The opening of this tourist hub demonstrates that Kherson region is rapidly developing its tourism potential, working on the development and improvement of infrastructure, quality of tourist services with a focus on international standards and European experience.

The event was held on the occasion of International Day of Tourism and Day of Tourism in Ukraine.
