On 28.10.2021 new Ukrainian Air Ocean Airlines get Air Transport Licence for the carriage of passengers by two aircrafts AN-148-100E with 75 passenger seats and registration UR-CTF and UR-CTC.

On 14.10.2021 the first aircraft AN-148-100E (2011) with registration UR-CTC and on 15.10.2021 the second aircraft AN-148-100E (2012) with registration UR-CTF landed at Kyiv Boryspil International Airport (KBP).

Most likely a new player on Ukrainian aviation market will offer aircrafts AN-148-100E to corporate clients for charter flights in Ukraine and abroad.

On Ukrainian domestic flight routes the new airline will be hard to compete as Open Skies will bring in Ukraine low cost airlines with aircrafts of larger capacity and Windrose Airlines with aircrafts ATR-72 is already on the domestic aviation market.

Passenger aircraft An-148-100E is medium-range narrow-body passenger aircraft designed for extended range of up to 4 400 km. The engines of An-148-100E - D-436-148 was designed by Ivchenko-Progress SE and produced by Motor Sich Company.
