On 09.01.2020 in Verkhovyna, Ivano-Frankivsk region will take place Hutsul Christmas Carol - traditional Hutsul holiday with special rite of walking around the church with Hutsul music and tossing up wooden hatchets.

The venue of the event is Singing Field near Wooden Church of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and start of the rite is at 11:00.

Participants of Christmas holiday in colorful Hutsul clothes walk to Wooden Church of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary where after blessing the priests tossing up wooden hatchets and caroling head to Singing Field to celebrate Nativity of Christ.

Verkhovyna invites all who interest in Ukrainian traditional Christmas celebration to join the holiday and be a part of unique rite in Carpathian Mountains!
