On 19.09.2020 in Kyiv Volodymyrska Hill opened new Archangel Michael Fountain with dragons and great bell in its basement with scale models of most famous cathedrals and churches of Kyiv.

The location of the new Kyiv fountain is close to St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery at Volodymyrska Hill.

Archangel Michael is the protector of Kyiv city and is depicted on the coat of arms of Kyiv so it is natural that the new fountain is dedicated to him.

The statue of Archangel Michael feels like flying in the air above cathedrals and churches of Kyiv protecting by sword and shield all citizens of Kyiv and guests of the city.

Dragons on the end of the fountain cup send water jets to the main bell in the center. They look more cute than dangerous as usual dargans should be.
