On 03.11.2020 at Chyhyryn Castle Hill opened Chyhyryn Fortress Sculpture - tactile scale model of Chyhyryn fortress which is a part of grant project History to Touch: Chyhyryn Fortress.

The location of the new sculpture is close to Doroshenko Bastion.

History to Touch: Chyhyryn Fortress project aims to improve access to historical and cultural heritage of Chyhyryn region for visually impaired.

Tactile model of Chyhyryn Fortress created according to the plan of Patrick Gordon from 1678, has dimensions of 80 x 140 cm, made of bronze in the scale of 1:300.

Sculptors of Chyhyryn Fortress Sculpture - Vasyl Odrekhivsky and Maryan Korol.

The information plate of the layout contains a text-signature in a universal design, Braille text and QR-codes with information, additional images and audio files about the project and the history of the fortress.

To the event booklet "Chyhyryn Fortress" in Braille writing system and guidebook "History by Touch: Chyhyrynshchyna” in universal design was published.
