On 09.10.2020 in Chernivtsi is restored Lighting Lanterns Tradition - centuries-old tradition of lighting lanterns called Light of Panska Street to attract the attention of tourists in Chernivtsi.

The concept of the event has historical roots and peculiarity is that every Saturday with the first twilight - 19:00 - in winter, 22:00 - in summer from the Town Hall come authentically dressed lamplighters with an ancient ladder in their hands and walk to the beginning of Olga Kobylyanska Street (former Panska Street).

Accompanied by music lamplightersl rise to a unique wrought-iron lantern and light a light in it thus signaling that it is time to light the lights in all the lanterns of Chernivtsi.
