After 15th of February 2019 Uruguayan citizens not required Ukrainian visa for period of stay up to 90 days within 180 day period that creates new tourism opportunities between Uruguay and Ukraine.

This agreement was signed by representatives of two countries Uruguay and Ukraine on September 26, 2018 in New York and on December 27, 2018 Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved it.

This moment there are no direct flights bewteen Uruguay and Ukraine. One way flight from Montevideo, Carrasco International Airport (MVD) to Kiev, Kyiv Boryspil International Airport (KBP) takes around 24 hours and return air tickets fare starts from 1000 USD.
