On 28.01.2019 Lviv Regional State Administration announced New Logo and Slogan for formation of a positive image of the region among foreign tourists and partners.

The new logo of Lviv Region describes connection of all cities of the region with Lviv that shows in symbol of lion. The general impression of the logo is symbol of sun with lion in its center.

The new slogan of Lviv Region is "People of action".

The cost of creating a brandbook was 134,5 thousand UAH (around 4800 USD).

Author of the logo and slogan is Volodymyr Blazhivsky who is the head of design school Lviv Projector and founder of Lviv Happy Design Studio.

Compare with former logo of Lviv Region the new logo is created in more modern and out of coat of arms style.
