On 28.09.2019 in Kiev will open restored Church of the Saviour at Berestove - UNESCO World heritage object #2 that is located close to Economy Gates of All Saints Church of Kiev Pechersk Lavra.

The time of the start of the event is 12:00.

It is great chance to look at the church of XII century that was clan tomb of Monomakh dynasty, destroyed in 1240 by Batu Khan and restored in 1640-1643 by Metropolitan of Kiev Petro Mohyla.

Restoration works took place during two years - 2017 - 2019.

Long time Church of the Saviour at Berestove was closed for visitors and now it is open for public with restored unique ensemble of fresco paintings of Petro Mohyla era as well as about 100 square meters of ancient Kievan Rus frescos.
