On 23th of May 2019 in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport (IEV) opened Terminal A Extension - new space of 10 000 square meters for passengers of international flights.

Two levels of the new extension of Terminal A let increase the capacity of the terminal twice by adding check-in counters, passport control and aviation security points.

Now Terminal A throughput capacity for passenger departure will be 1045 people per hour.

On the ground floor of Terminal A Extension for passengers there are 18 check-in desks and nine additional points of control for aviation security.

On the second floor there are passport control area with 18 cabins, waiting room with three restaurants, two bars and two Duty Free shops.

In the right part of Terminal A Extension opened new Air Hub shop with aviation souvenirs for every taste.

In front of the new space of the terminal set new car parking for 135 parking lots.
