in Kharkiv will be held Hopak Fest - international festival of Ukrainian folk dance with participation of local dance groups and Ukrainian diaspora.
The venue of the festival is Palace of Culture for Railway Workers, Velyka Panasivska St, 83а, Kharkiv.
Hopak Fest Program includes:
- grand opening
- competition dances
- workshops with participation of members of the jury
- meetings of participants of the festival in the form of “round tables” with members of the jury
The festival concludes with a gala concert with participation of dance groups and guests of the festival which announces the winners, presents prizes and awards.

- Folk-stage hopak (mixed)
- Folk-ethnographic hopak (vocal, ballet, orchestra) - dance is based on a peculiar local folklore choreographic, musical and ethnographic heritage
