On 08.06.2019 in Ukraine was created new HBO Chernobyl Series Tour which give the opportunity for tourists to visit real locations in Chernobyl Zone where took place the filming of the miniseries.

The new HBO Chernobyl tour is going by classic Chernobyl tour itinerary with extension on new locations connected with HBO movie.

Real locations of the tour are mainly from Miniseries #1 "1:23:45":

- Liquidation Headquarter in Basement of Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant
- Fire Department
- Bridge of Prypyat Town
- Prypyat Medical Unit

There is an optional possibility is the ride by Radiation Reconnaissance Vehicle BRDM-2 - such unit was used for creation of maps of levels of radioactivity in Chernobyl NPP and Prypyat city.

The cost of HBO Chernobyl Series Tour start from 185 US dollars per person.

In 2020 Chernobyl tourism season it is expecting rise of number to toursits by 150 - 200% to 200 000 per year compare to 63 000 in 2018 because of high popularity of HBO Chernobyl TV Miniseries.
