Chernobyl Tours attracted 100 000 tourists due to Chernobyl HBO Series |
107 000 tourists have visited Chernobyl Exclusion Zone since the beginning of 2019. Such a record was set in October. The increase in traffic began in the spring with the release of Chernobyl HBO Series. Factors that influenced the increase in tourist flow: - introduction of Chernobyl Zone electronic pass Most visitors of Chernobyl Tours come from abroad - almost 80%: In recent months new routes in Chernobyl Exclusion Zone have been opened including water and air routes, established information stands in two languages - Ukrainian and English and increased the number of guides - this is only the beginning of implementation of grand strategy for development of Exclusion Zone. Chernobyl Exclusion Zone is interesting not only for tourists but also for artists. Recently there have been a number of events that have drawn the attention of the community to the restoration of nature in Chernobyl Zone.
