in Kiev, Zhytomyr, Berdychiv and Verkhivnya will take place Balzac Fest - more than 11 special events in honor of 220th birthday of Honore de Balzac.
The main events of the festival are located in cities connected with life of Honore de Balzac during 1847 - 1850 when he lived in the estate of Ewelina Constancja Viktoria Hańska:
- Kiev - here Honore de Balzac stopped and spent time with friends
- Zhytomyr - historical artifacts are kept connected with the writer
- Berdychiv - where Honore de Balzac and Ewelina Constancja Viktoria Hańska get married
- Verkhivnya - village where the estate of Ewelina Constancja Viktoria Hańska is located in which the spouses lived short time after the wedding and where Honore de Balzac wrote works that were part of "La Comédie Humaine"
