On 19th of May 2018 in Zhovti Vody, Dnipro region will be held Cossack Festival Hertz - all-Ukrainian festival of Cossack traditional and martial arts.

Zaporozhian Cossacks performed "hertz" as a form of demonstration before beginning of the battle when Cossack group went out of combat formation, approached the enemy closer to range of a gun shot while still mocking the enemy.

The festival time is 09:00 - 18:00.

Cossack Festival Hertz Program includes:

- March of Patriots - 09:00, meeting point - "Generous Basket" shop
- Festival opening near Monument to Heroes of Liberation War in 1648 - 1654
- Group Cossack battles
- Knife battle tournament
- Cossack fights 5 x 5
- Performances by creative music groups
- Cossack kulish
