On 20th of November 2017 just 50 km from Kiev on highway Kiev - Zhytomyr was opened Restaurant Yellow Plane with aircraft Yak-40, flight simulators and EV charge.

Main attraction of the restaurant is yellow aircraft Yak-40 with possibility for tourists and especially children to visit the cockpit, sit in pilot's seats and touch the plane controls.

The footpath from the restaurant to aircraft Yak-40 made as symbolic runway with approach lighting system working at the night time.

Also inside of aircraft Yak-40 are installed flight simulators so there is a great chanse for anyone to feel themself as a real commercial pilot.

While children enjoy time inside of yellow aircraft Yak-40 - parents could order a nice meal and stay in the restaurant stylized as Command and Control Tower of regular airport or airfield. Pleasant music sounds indoors and funs of drums could play on electronic drum without disturbing surrounding people.

On the second floor of the restaurant control tower there is viewpoint to make nice pictures of Yak-40 and surrounding territory of the restaurant.

For those who love USSR aviaton history near the restaurant there is a van ErAZ-762 (produced 1966 - 1996) that was used in many Soviet airports and right now is good place for selfie.

Restaurant Yellow Plane offers dishes of European and Ukrainian cuisine for every taste. Good coffee is waiting for everyone who stops even for a short time.

For those who travel to and from Kiev by electric car there is free EV charge near the restaurant.
