On 26th of May 2018 in Kiev will be held UEFA Champions League Final starting at 21:45 at Stadium of Olimpiyskiy National Sports Complex.

Ambassador of UEFA Champions League Final among men is Andriy Shevchenko - the winner of honorable trophy for winning of 2003 finals playing for Italian Milan.

The women's finals will be held on May 24, 2018 at Valeriy Lobanovsky Stadium. Ukraine National Football Team player Iya Andrushchak will be the ambassador of UEFA Women's Champions League Final 2018.

On 12th of December 2017 took place the presentation of logos of the final of UEFA Champions League and Women's UEFA Champions League for 2017 - 2018 season. The logo is a stylized image of Champions Cup on the background of yellow-blue arena.

In the presentation of the logo took part the best scorer in history of Ukraine National Football Team, owner of "Golden Ball" and twice the best scorer of Champions League Andriy Shevchenko who is now the head coach of Ukraine National Football Team.

There were also presented two cups of UEFA Champions League Final to be won by Europe's strongest teams in May 2018.

This will be a unique tourist event not only for the city of Kiev but for the whole of Ukraine.

In addition to UEFA Champions League Final UEFA plan to organize UEFA Champions Festival that take place on 24.05 - 26.05.2018 in Kiev on Khreshchatyk street.

Kyiv City Council was decided to allocate 25 million UAH (around 750 000 Euro) for this football holiday. If compare these funds with Eurovision 2017 it is 10 times less budget amount.

Number of visitors to Kiev during the event is forecasted 3 times more than last year during Eurovision 2017. Kyiv city plans to host 120 000 tourists of which the majority will be foreigners.

Also there is another football event of European level that will take place in Kiev from 12th to 18th of August 2018 - European Minifootball Championship EMF Euro 2018.
