On 01.06 - 03.06.2018 in Kiev will be held Race Horizon Park - international bicycle race in which take part 170 athletes from 10 countries of the world.

Race Horizon Park International Race Series will start with "Race of the World" on the first day of the competition with participation of 18 men's teams.

Organizing committee decided to hold an opening ceremony in the city to allow maximum number of Kyiv residents and guests of Ukrainian capital to be present at this sporting event.

On Friday the race will take place in legendary Olympic Ring in Chabany which was renovated in 2016. The restoration of legendary track on which Soviet and Ukrainian cyclists trained continued in 2017. Riders will compete in a circle of 16 kilometers long which the peloton will overcome ten times thus forming a total distance of 160 kilometers.

Five laps of 19 km will run the peloton of international women's race Horizon Park Women Challenge which includes 9 teams from five countries. The distance for women will be 94 km.

Race Horizon Park will finish on June 2, 2018 with Men's Horizon Park Race Maidan which is considered to be the main event of the day as the history of Kiev cycling race began with the race on Khreshchatyk street 60 years ago. Horizon Park Race Maidan pass along Khreschatyk Street, Bessarabska Square, Taras Shevchenko Blvd, Peremohy Ave, Kiev Metro Station "Nyvky" and ends on Maidan Nezalezhnosti Square. Athletes ride 7 laps with total distance of 133 km.

On Sunday, June 2, 2018 will be held the final part of professional program - male single-day Horizon Park Classic in Solomyansky district of Kyiv. All racers will run 12 circles of 8 kilometers with a total distance of 96 kilometers.
