On 24th - 25th of February 2018 in Kiev will be held Hopak Fest - international festival of Ukrainian folk dance with participation of local dance groups and Ukrainian diaspora.

The venue of the festival is Center of Culture and Art of National Aviation University.

Hopak Fest Main Nominations

- Folk-stage hopak (mixed)
- Folk-ethnographic hopak (vocal, ballet, orchestra) - dance is based on a peculiar local folklore choreographic, musical and ethnographic heritage
- Men's Ukrainian folk dance of different regions of Ukraine
- Stylized hopak - dance which combinesmodern choreography with folk-ethnographic hopak
- Dance "Cossack" - folk-stage hopak

- Ukrainian folk dance
- Stylized Ukrainian folk dance

Hopak Fest Additional Nominations

- Debut on a great scene - a dance performed by novice dancers
- Premiere of dance - performances and dances of festival teams created in 2017
- Dance (battle) solo nomination - dance creative competition between solo performers of hopak. The best performers of the male party of hopak are determined
