On 05.05 - 11.05.2018 in Kiev will be held Ethno Festival - festival of heritage and traditions of indigenous peoples and national minorities of Ukraine.

The venue of the festival is Kontraktova Square on Podil and working time - 11:00 - 21:00.

Ethno Festival with slogan "Traditions. Emotions. Life" is a cultural event-festival whose purpose is:
- preservation of heritage and traditions of indigenous peoples and national minorities of Ukraine
- acquaintance of Ukrainian citizens with cultural traditions, rites, folklore, traditional crafts of indigenous peoples and national minorities of Ukraine
- attracting public attention to problems of preserving historical and cultural heritage of Ukraine

Ethno Festival Program includes:

- celebration of traditional holiday of Crimean Tatars "Hidyrlez" (begin in the evening of Saturday, May 5 and ends in the evening of Sunday, May 6)
- music performances by creative groups and singers
- master classes
- interactive entertainment for children
- exhibition of paintings
- book exhibition
- ethno-fair
- delicious national dishes of Ukrainian, Crimean-Tatar, Armenian, Georgian and other cuisines. The guests of the festival will be able to taste authentic Crimean chebureks, samsa in tandoor, kebab, pilaf and other delicious meals.
