On 13.06 - 17.06.2018 in Ivano-Frankivsk will take place Porto Franko Festival - futuristic festival of contemporary, theatrical art and national, modern music.

The venues of the festival are Ivano-Frankivsk Town Hall, Potocki Palace, Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater. Also among the unique locations are International Airport Ivano-Frankivsk (IFO), Ivano-Frankivsk Railway Station and Plant "Prompribor".

Main theme of the festival is "Air Port" so the main location of the festival will be International Airport Ivano-Frankivsk (IFO).

Porto Franko Festival will start with an aerodynamic "take-off" installation - music and light show will be combined with the sound of aircraft engines and voice of air traffic controllers from all over the world.

The first ballet with robots "Oh, Magic" by Austrian choreographer Simon Mayer will arrive to the festival from Vienna.

During the festival will present performances from meters of modern European theatre directors - "The Book of Job" by Eimuntas Nekrošius and "The Seagull" by Oscar Korshunov.

Porto Franko Festival is preparing its concert program dedicated to 90th birthday of the innovator of contemporary music, leader of musical avant-garde German composer Karlheinz Stockhausen. Within the framework of this program will perform American-Belgian trombonist Thomas de Moor, Hungarian percussionist László Hudacsek, German-Hungarian singer and performer Julia.
