On 16th of January 2018 pilots Mikola Rubel and Denus Kopcha made the first Hoverla Ballooning to fly over the highest point of Ukraine 2061 metres (6762 ft).

Both pilots set the record of Ukraine with the beginning of winter hot air ballooning season in Carpathians that take place till 20th of February 2018.
