On 18th of May 2018 in Chernivtsi was set interactive Street Laser Harp - new art object for tourists who could create their own music via modern technologies.

The location of the laser harp is Kobylyanskoi Street, 53 near Nimetskyy Dim (German House) and Art Center "Vernissage on Panska".

Street Laser Harp will be available for tourists and guests of Chernivtsi till the end of the summer time.

Laser harp is an electronic musical instrument which is a series of laser beams that overlap similar to those of usual harp strings. Designed by Geoffrey Rose and Bernard Szajner in 1981.

The instrument has a photoelectric principle of action - each of the laser beams enters photocell the signal from which manages the synthesizer.
