On 20th - 22nd of April 2018 in Chernihiv will take place Chernihiv Fest - the main family and historical festival that opens tourism season in Chernihiv.

As part of the festival in the evening on April 20, 2018 will be held Pre-Party of Chernihiv Fest where Chernihiv restaurants on Red Square will present their tasty dishes.

On April 21, 2018 near Transfiguration Cathedral will be Grand Opening of Chernihiv Fest with participation of famous historical figures of Chernihiv of different ages. All visitors will enjoy historical festival that brings back to Kievan Rus of XI-XII centuries.

The same day on Red Square will take place a spectacular reconstruction of history of birth of Chernihiv. Fierce medieval battles of 3 x 3 in full armor and "Heroic Fun" with fights on pillows and tug-of-war are awating for tourists and guests of the festival.

In the main square of the city will be "Master-Chief" and free master classes for preparation of dumplings.

On April 22, 2018 - the day of family and children's holiday. This day there is a free family and children's quest, animated theatrical tour, children's animation and much more.

In addition for Chernihiv Fest there are special tourist promo actions with discounts:

- "Week-end at half price" - accommodation in Hotel Ukraine, Hostel "Papa's" and "Leo" from April 20 till April 23, 2018 at a discount of 50%
