On 26th - 31st of March 2017 in Zaporizhzhya will be held Accords of Khortitsa Festival - festival of children's and youth music performing art.

The aim of Accords of Khortitsa Festival is enriching cultural achievements of people of Ukraine, develop cultural relations and creative growth of young talents from around the world, performance of young musicians with Zaporizhzhia Academic Symphony Philharmonic Orchestra, exchange of experience on pedagogy and performance (workshops, methodical conference).

Venues of Accords of Khortitsa Festival are Concert Hall named after Mikhail Glinka of Zaporizhzhya Philharmonic, Zaporizhzhya Children's Art School №1, Zaporizhzhya Music Schools №1 and №2.

Participants of the festival divided in five age categories:
- Debut - up to 8 years and 5 months inclusive
- Category 1 - from 8 years 6 months to 10 years inclusive
- Category 2 - from 11 to 13 years inclusive
- Category 3 - from 14 to 16 years inclusive
- Category 4 - from 17 to 20 years inclusive

Music performances take place in such nominations:

• A - Soloist with orchestra
• B - Soloists-instrumentalists-vocalists

  • Stringed instruments
  • Traditional instruments (accordion)
  • National Instruments (balalaika, domra, guitar, flute, dulcimer)
  • Banduryst-instrumentalist
  • Banduryst singer
  • Wind and percussion instruments
  • Solo singing
• C - Ensembles
  • Instrumental ensembles
  • Chamber ensembles
  • Vocal ensembles
• G - Accompanist

Accords of Khortitsa Festival participants will be awarded in nominations:

• Diploma of Grand Prix Winner and prizes
• Diploma of Winner of I, II, III degree and memorable gift
• Honorary Diploma
