On 14th of October 2017 in Zaporizhia will be held Festival Pokrova on Khortytsia - All-Ukrainian Cossack festival with concert program, Cossack show and fun.

Festive concert program of Festival Pokrova on Khortytsia will begin a prologue "Glory of Cossacks will not be forgotten!" with participation of creative teams from Kyiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhia regions.

Events of All-Ukrainian Cossack Festival Pokrova on Khortytsia will take palce on two locations and will be held on the territory of Historical and Cultural Complex "Zaporizhia Sich" and on "Cossack Circle" near History Museum of Zaporizhia Cossacks of National Reserve "Khortytsia".

On "Cossack Circle" guests could visit the town of folk art craftsmen "Zaporizhia Guards", tourist exhibition "Hospitality of Zaporizhia" and festival of national cultures "United Family".

Tourist exhibition "Hospitality of Zaporizhia" will present tourist sights and attraction of Zaporizhzhya region, tourist objects, green homesteads, cognitive tourism, ethno-tourism and extreme tourism.

Visitors of the tourist exhibition will be able to shoot from the bow, become spectators of extreme shows and get acquainted with Cossack weapons. Guests may visit green farmsteads with salt rooms and mini zoos.

Pylyshenko Zoo will bring to the festival little lions and tigers from Vasilivka private zoo.

The concert program will be attended by Cossack ensemble of songs and dance "Zaporozhets" of Regional Philharmonic Society, music groups - "Bunchuk", "Kalina", "Zaporizhia Cossacks", "Harmony", "Cossacks-Zaporizhians". There will be interactive programs for children and adults prepared by School of Cossack Martial Arts "Spas" and group of historical reconstruction "Zaporizhia Sich Cossacks".

During the festival all-day will work Ukrainian restaurants with tasty dishes and hot drinks. Everyone could buy Ukrainian souvenirs, traditional gifts, clothes and many other interesting things.
