Ternopil Airport is ready to lease for 1 US dollar per year |
Ternopil Regional State Administration is open for cooperation and ready to consider offers both domestic and foreign investors who can launch domestic or international flights from Ternopil Airport (TNL). Investor or investors also will be provided free territory for the construction of a logistics center. In December 2016 Ternopil Airport (TNL) received a certificate of aviation security service. Ternopil Airport Characteristics Ternopil Airport is a communal property of Ternopil Regional Council and covers an area of 154 hectares. The distance from the center of Ternopil is 7 km. The airport has an international checkpoints across the state border of Ukraine and is listed in directory of Aeronautical Information of Ukraine. Checkpoint equipped with technical means of passengers and luggage monitoring. Available one runway 2000 x 42 meters made of reinforced concrete, two taxiways and two airplane apron that can accommodate six medium haul aircrafts. Aerodrome meteorological minimum (lower limit of height of clouds and horizontal visibility) with a magnetic course 279° / 99 ° is 200 x 2000 meters. The airport belongs to "G" class of airfields and has one passenger terminal area of 384 square meters with a capacity of 170 passengers per hour and international checkpoints across the state border of Ukraine. As part of Ternopil Airport there are all necessary services for aircraft maintenance, passenger support and runway maintenance. Ternopil Airport is located almost in geometric center of Western Ukraine. Distances to regional centers from the airport: Lviv - 120 km, Khmelnytsky - 110 km, Ivano-Frankivsk - 130 km, Rivne - 130 km, Lutsk - 150 km, Chernivtsi - 170 km. Location of airport complex and its structures enables the modernization of the airport including extension of the runway to 2500 meters on existing land acquisition, reconstruction of passenger terminal, additional platforms, creating modern handling terminals. Currently about 250 000 citizens of Ternopil region are at work outside of Ukraine in Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain, England, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and others countries. Potential passengers of Ternopil Airport may be residents of Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Rivne regions.
