On 16th of July 2017 in Skadovsk, Kherson region presented Taras Shevchenko Rice Portrait of 1370 sq.m. created by sowing rice with black leaves on a green field.

This portrait of Taras Shevchenko is visible even from the space.

Its authors of Taras Shevchenko Rice Portrait are Ukrainian scientists-breeders of Rice Institute of Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.

Accuracy of transmission of all strokes of Taras Shevchenko Rice Portrait is amazing.

It is set new record of Ukraine in category "Science and Technology" of National Register of Records of Ukraine.

The best view of the portrait is from the helicopter, fixed-wing aircraft or private jet.
