On 3rd of September 2017 in Rakhiv, Transcarpathia took place Hutsul Brynza Festival with dozens varieties of cheese, wurda and brynza as well as songs, dances, smiles and fun mood.

Hutsul Brynza Festival was created in honor of shepherds who return from Carpathian mountains before the winter.

The festival began with solemn procession on the central street of Rakhiv and this year there were also innovations - master class of shepherd's whip "Kubach" and also a horse show.

The procession ended on a hill of Rakhiv Amphitheater where were located more than two dozen decorated folk-style pavilions with traditional dishes from every settlement of Rakhiv region. Tourists were offered not only various types of bryndza and also Ukrainian, Romanian and Hungarian food and drinks.

In the evening Ukrainian stars Ruslana and Alla Kudlay performed at Rakhiv Amphitheater. Fun with songs and dances was until late at night and once again proved that Hutsul Brynza Festival is the best festival in Transcarpathia.
