On 23rd of March 2017 National Bank of Ukraine has simplified procedure for moving cash of foreign currency through customs border of Ukraine.

National Bank of Ukraine has expanded the list of documents individuals must provide for customs declaration of foreign currency cash exceeding equivalent of 10 000 Euro.

For confirmation of the sources of cash of foreign currency individuals can provide not only documents confirming withdrawal of cash from accounts in the bank but the receipt of currency exchange operations in cash if such an operation took place.

National Bank of Ukraine increased terms of supporting documents required for customs declaration of foreign currency in cash (on cash withdrawals) - from 30 days to 90 days.

By Ukraine law a foreigner may bring up to 10 000 Euro in cash (or the equivalent in other currency) without declaration.
