On 30th of April 2017 in Parkhomivka Historical and Art Museum will take place Festival "Slobozhanshchina Pearls: Parkhomivka - the world's masterpieces" with carnival in style of the early twentieth century.

The festival will be held at the main location - territory of Krasnokutsk Park and near Parkhomivka Historical and Art Museum.

The event will include a theatrical show in costumes of 1900-1925 years, performances of musical groups (saxophone, violin, bandura), literary readings, workshops of production of craft items (pottery, weaving wicker, embroidery, brush and sand painting) and tourists could enjoy excellent cuisine and exemplary service.

After 16:00 will be performance of Cossacks Theatre, sand painting, fashion show of designers, fire show and a lot of interesting things.

- Guides will organize tour to Parkhomivka Historical and Art Museum with stories about its history and unique exhibits
- Artists conducting master classes in drawing for everyone
- Photographers organize thematic master classes and workshops
- Festival studio with stylists and decorators will offer making pictures in style of the early twentieth century
- Workshops on handicrafts, pottery, weaving wicker, embroidery, Petrikivka painting
- Concert in authentic style of twentieth century on the territory of Krasnokutsk park at various locations. Performance of musicians on bandura, saxophone and violin
- In Krasnokutsk park organize literary readings
- On the main stage held a fashion show of local designers and authentic costumes of the early twentieth century
- Official part of the festival finish with flight of pigeons and sakuras planting as the beginning of sakura alley in the park
- Sand Drawing Festival and demonstration of process of drawing on the wide screen
- Demonstration on the main stage of the festival a movie
- Fire show is performed by girls team
- Demonstration of Cossack fights staged in appropriate attire and authentic accessory

The festival includes the following events dedicated to "Year of Japan in Ukraine":

- Workshop "Impact of Japanese landscape art at development of Ukrainian culture and modern landscape architecture"
- Sakuras planting in Krasnokutsk park as a symbol of stability and spiritual beauty of Slobozhanshchina
- Workshop for stone garden landscaping with masters of landscape design near Parkhomivka Historical and Art Museum

Parkhomivka Historical and Art Museum

Parkhomivka Historical and Art Museum named after Panas Lunev is one of the most interesting rural museums in Ukraine and one of the most popular tourist sites of Kharkiv region. The museum can justly be called "Rural Hermitage". According period of its existence over 60 years in its funds collected about 7000 exhibits: unique paintings, drawings, sculptures, decorative art, valuable materials on archeology and ethnography.

The exposition of the museum is located in twelve halls and has departments:
