On 26th - 28th of May 2017 in Odessa will be held Gunpowder Tower Medieval Fest - the festival of medieval culture with full contact knight tournaments.

Gunpowder Tower Medieval Fest includes knight tournaments, quests and games, music and dancing, archery shooting range, theater, craftsmen fair, taverns, fire show, food-court and more.

The main location of the festival is Taras Schevchenko Central Park of Culture and Recreation in Odessa and the working time is from 11:00 to 23:00.

26.05.2017, Friday

- Opening of the first festival day, performance of historical dance groups, competitions, quests
- Knight tournaments in nominations Shield - Sword, Sword - Buckler, Bastard - Sword (qualification)
- Theatrical performances, historical dances, dance master classes
- Torchlight procession and fire show

27.05.2017, Saturday

- Opening of the second festival day, fiery speech of the King, teams presentation, speech of heralds, ethnic dances in honor of the knights and the King
- First fighting unit in chivalrous stadium
- The King speech, summing-up the fights, prizes awarded
- Theatrical performances, historical dances, dance master classes
- Torchlight procession and fire show

28.05.2017, Sunday

- Opening of the third festival day, fiery speech of the King, teams presentation, knight performances for beautiful ladies, ethnic dances in honor of the knights and the King
- First fighting unit in chivalrous stadium
- Competitions among visitors of the festival, historical dances, dance master classes, theatrical performances
- Second fighting unit in chivalrous stadium
- Completion if the festival, awarding of tournament participants, prizes awarded
- Theatrical performances, historical dances, dance master classes
- Performances of dance and music groups, torchlight procession and fire show
