On 19th of January 2017 in Odessa Philharmonic will take place David Krakauer Concert with participation of Andrew Pokaz Trio and Pushkin Klezmer Band (Ukraine).

David Krakauer is a famous American clarinetist born in New York, USA well known for his virtuoso performance of klezmer, classical, jazz and avant-garde music. In the world there are very few musicians who can boast such a variety of genres in which they reached peaks of skill. Recognized as one of the best clarinetists of the world it is considered one of the major innovators in klezmer music and an outstanding performer of classical music.

In Ukraine David Krakauer have been for the first time 25 years ago just a few months after proclamation of independence of Ukraine. He gave concerts in Odessa, Kiev, Kharkiv and Lviv. After he has made several visits to Ukraine performing different compositions and very different music. David Krakauer played with Ukrainian musicians among them well-known Pushkin Klezmer Band.

At this time David Krakauer specifically come to Ukraine at the invitation of Embassy of United States in Ukraine to play a concert dedicated to 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and USA.
