On 30th of March - 2nd of April 2017 in Odessa will take place Comediada 2017 - VII International Festival of Clowns and Mimes under the motto "Laugh to the World".

The festival proudly carries a humorous banner of the most cheerful, peaceful, joyful city of Odessa.

Comediada every year widens the geography of participants. This time are waiting for acquaintance of clowns from Spain, Hungary, Israel, Poland, France, Romania, Moldova and Belarus. Also well-known artists and producers from Japan, Austria, Italy, Germany, Belgium and Monaco will come to visit the event. Young performers and collectives from Ukraine and Europe will compete for Grand Prix and other awards of creative competition.

In 2017 legendary, famous, king of clowning Leo Bassi from Spain will take part in International Festival of Clowns and Mimes Comediada 2017.

Within the framework of Year of Japan in Ukraine the festival will be attended by producer and director of Clown Festival in Tokyo - Mikio Osima who will conduct a master class "Japanese Clown".

This year the symbol of Comediada 2017 is "Clownfish" - we are clowns and even fish.

The main goal of the festival is creation of an emotional atmosphere of good and peace in Ukraine.

April 1, Saturday
13:00 - Carnival parade of "Comediada" participants down the streets of Odessa
14:30 - Gala show and Awards Ceremony of laureates and prizewinners of "Comediada" at Odessa main square
19:00 - Gala show of professional clown theatres and mimes at "House of Clowns"

April 2, Sunday
12:00 - Special event "Clown-Doctor" for orphans and disabled children at hospitals, orphanages, boarding schools and theatre "House of Clowns"
15:00 - Clown laboratory "Sharing of experience":

• Workshop "The art of actor, clown, mime" by G. Babitskiy, Israel
• Japanese clowning by Mikio Osima, Japan (Moderator Vladimir Kryukov)

19:00 - Gala show of professional clown theatres and mimes at "House of Clowns"
22:30 - Closing party
