On 20th - 27th of June 2017 in Mykolaiv will take place Mykolaiv Chess Fest - eight chess tournaments for all ages and levels and mini-football tournament.

Mykolaiv Chess Fest is created with the aim of popularizing of chess game as a socially significant intellectual sport, enhancing sports skills, expanding connections between chess players.

The festival is organized by Chess Federation of Mykolaiv Region with prize fund of 75 000 UAH (around 2900 US dollars).

Mykolaiv Chess Fest will be held at National University of Shipbuilding named after Admiral Makarov (Central Avenue). The game room is located in the city center next to Hotel Tourist.

Preliminary registration for participation in tournaments "A", "B", "C", "D" is required. The deadline for registration is June 17, 2017.

Each participant of the tournament must have a copy of the identity document and identification number reference. Foreign participants must have FIDE ID.
