On 16th of January 2017 in Lviv was opened renovated Statue of Liberty in sculpture composition "Savings. Agriculture. Industry" on facade of Lviv Museum of Ethnography and Crafts.

Lviv Statue of Liberty began to restore in summer 2016 and relevant work lasted about half a year. Total cost of the restoration was 467 000 UAH (around 16500 US dollars), of which 300 000 UAH philanthropists gathered at the auction and the rest of the amount obtained from Lviv ciy budget.

The initiator of Lviv Statue of Liberty restoration in 2015 was University of Banking. At the end of that year its students together with students of Lviv National Agrarian University and Lviv Polytechnic University held a charity event "Auction of Hope" - the purpose of which was to raise funds for the restoration of the sculpture.

First restoration of Lviv Statue of Liberty began with cleaning of the sculpture and very delicate clearing it manually. In addition to restoring the sculpture restored two other sculptures of composition - "Agriculture" and "Industry" and also the inscription on the shield under them. Crown on the head of Lviv Statue of Liberty gilded with gold leaf.

Let us remind you that in Uzhgorod of Transcarpathia region there is the smallest lighthouse in Ukraine made in form of Statue of Liberty in New York of Unites States of America.
