On 2nd - 4th of June 2017 in Kiev Planetarium will take place Kyiv Hobby Show - scale modelling festival which brings together creative people who are fond of toy modelling.

Guests of Kyiv Hobby Show could look at real masterpieces of modelling toys which harmoniously combines science and art, technical ability to reproduce the finest details.

Organizers are offering traditional competitions in modelling toys for masters and beginners and also exhibitions of prominent stand modelers of Ukraine and European countries. In addition to scale models of plastic, paper, wood and metal the festival will feature two famous miniature clubs - Ukrainian Club of Railway Modeling - demonstrate a realistic railway in 1:87 scale and Club TTrak-UA with a model of railway in 1:160 scale.

Club "Glibinnyi Strazh" will hold an international tournament in board games Flames of War where numerous miniature armies in 1:100 scale will reconstruct military battles of Second World War.

In addition during Kyiv Hobby Show for the first time will be presented radio-controlled models. Boat modelers can play sea battles in the pool with a total area of 225 square meters. Tank modelers have the opportunity to test their radio-controlled tank models on two large landfills which have roads, bridges, huts, forests and even swamps.

Children who visit Kyiv Hobby Show are invited to workshops on paper model in children's recreation areas.

During the festival will be held contest "Ukrainian Box-Art Challenge" with the aim of featuring the best examples of packaging for scale models.
