The aim of Kyiv Coffee Festival is to gather on the same site the best professionals in the world of coffee and to acquaint visitors with the latest trends, to give everyone opportunity to try the drink prepared in different ways and then teach the basics of coffee excellence. The festival will introduce latest trends of coffee industry, unique ideas of coffee stores across Ukraine and will allow the guests of the festival to look at national coffee championships. In 2016 under Kyiv Coffee Festival the winners of championship represented Ukraine at the world championships in Dublin (Ireland). In 2017 Kyiv Coffee Festival will provide a platform for as many as 5 national championships in various categories judged by international judges. Winners will defend the honor of Ukraine at the world championships and compete with colleagues from more than 30 countries. Several dozen of talented baristas will create coffee mixes and original coffee drinks, compete in brewing coffee in "alternative" non-mechanical methods, acquaint with a lot of coffee devices. In the past two years festivals have gathered about 20 thousand of coffee lovers, coffee roasters, coffee house representatives, professional baristas and certified judges.
