On 13.04 - 10.05.2017 in Kiev at Spivoche Pole will take place Tulip Festival - more than 200 000 tulips of 12 different types, colors, height and flowering time.

Update! Tulips will be fully blooming on around 28.04 - 01.05.2017.

Tulip Festival "Secrets of Easter Eggs" will represent varieties of tulips such as Cape Town, Mondial (white early terry), Viking (terry, early red), Apricot Foxx (apricot color), Jackpot (purple with white border), Strong Gold (yellow), Blue Diamond (purple, violet), Alibi, Orange Cassini, Van Eijk.

Main subjects of Tulip Festival is Easter Holiday - the largest Orthodox holiday in Ukraine.

A common feature of celebration of Easter is Easter Egg. However not everyone knows what means symbols that are used for painting eggs.

So to create an exhibition of Tulip Festival was used the symbolism of Easter eggs creating amulet composition where the main element is a certain symbol.

Solar Symbol or Space Symbol is the symbol of the Sun - the oldest and most common symbol on Easter eggs which symbolizes vitality and rebirth in nature. It is always give as a present Pisanka with symbols of sun for happy life.

Svarga Symbol and Tryhver Symbol are symbols of the movement of the sun and eternal life extension.

Tryrih Symbol - a sign of fire and male energy.

Rhombus Symbol or Square Symbol - the symbol of the Earth, material wealth, prosperity, plowed field and general symbol of the feminine nature.

Grid Symbol - hatching which was filled areas of squares protected from evil spirits.

Keeper Symbol (Talisman, Great Goddess) which is depicted as a woman with their hands up - protector of home and family, defender of the problems and ruler of human lives. Eventually Keeper Symbol represent Great Mother of the World transformed into a trident or christianized image of Virgin who prays.

Also during Tulip Festival on 17.04.2017 at 13:00 will begin Easter Concert.
