On 1st of May 2017 in Syretsky Park opens Kiev Children Railway - the railway of passenger service made by children on locomotive TU7 with three passenger cars Pafawag.

Kiev Children Railway Schedule and Fares

From 01.05.2017 to 04.06.2017: 10:30 - 15:30, Sunday and Official Hoilidays
After 04.06.2017: 10:30 - 15:30, Saturday, Sunday and Official Hoilidays

The fare is 18 UAH for children and 24 UAH for adults. Children under 6 years travel free of charge.

Traveling by railway ring around Syretsky park lasts 20 minutes.

About Kiev Children Railway

Kiev Children Railway was opened on August 2, 1953 in Syretsky park. On the railroad operate two locomotive TU7 - №3192 and №3197, one steam train GR-336 and three passenger cars Pafawag. The road is equipped with semi-automatic lock and train, station and locomotive radio. There are 13 railroad semaphores.

Kiev Children Railway consists of two rings - small and large. Also on large ring there is viaduct over ravine - height of 19,6 meters and length of 100 meters.

In school "Young Railwayman" engaged more than 450 children.
