On 21st of February 2017 Kiev City Council announced investment project of Kiev Cable Car to attract foreign investors for implementation of the tourism project.

Construction of Kiev Cable Car is expected by planned route: Arch of Friendship of Peoples - Park Vladimir Hill - Postal Square - Trukhaniv Island - Hydropark.

Cost of the project is around 20 million US dollars.

If to analyze the route of Kiev Cable Car it may be noted that the project overlaps with the existing logistics and transport links - so Arch of Friendship of Peoples will be linked to Vladimir Hill by pedestrian and cycling bridge, between Vladimir Hill and Postal Square works Kiev Funicular, Arch of Friendship of Peoples linked to Trukhaniv Island by pedestrian bridge and zip line, Postal Square and Hydropark Subway Station could be easy connect by pleasure boat line.

Building of Kiev Cable Car on Trukhaniv Island to Hydropark Subway Station is difficult task for the construction as the islands are composed mainly of sand and the shortest route of the cable car is currently busy with existing recreation bases.
