On 28th of April 2017 in Khmelnytskyi will take place opening of Tourism Season on pedestrian part of Proskurivska street with main slogan "Open your Town. History of a Friend".

- Announcing of Khmelnytskyi Festival calendar 2017
- Theatrical performances "City of Children"

Installation "Pyramid" is intended to show interesting tourist sights and attractions in Khmelnytskyi. They are its cultural pyramid. City Museum: Museum-Studio of Photographic Art and Khmelnytskyi History Museum will make outside exposures.

On this day all guests, tourists and visitor of Khmelnytskyi can take part in Khmelnytskyi City Tours by exclusive bus.

Post Action in the open air let tourists from other cities to invite to Khmelnytskyi their relatives and friends by sending post cards.

The opening of Khmelnytskyi Tourism Season will take place in one day with International Folk Dance Festival named after Hlushenkov which this year participate more than 15 dance groups from Serbia, Romania, Turkey and various cities and regions of Ukraine.

All activities are free of charge and take place outdoors on Proskurivska street and on the big stage in front of Cinema named after Taras Shevchenko.
